I constantly end up spending time fiddling around with a bunch of different text boxes in one note. Continue this thread level 2 2 points 3 years ago For me being able to add text boxes anywhere on the page is a big plus - Evernote (and all the alternatives) seems so limited and restrictive in comparison. For example I use Onenote for keeping a work journal of everything I do during the day. I have a page per day with one long text box in the left hand column where I jot down notes, but I can add additional information, code snippets, links etc in additional boxes on the right, next to the relevant note on the left. If you just click at random on a page and start typing then you are probably doing it wrong. ![]() I liked Evernote originally but eventually switched entirely to OneNote. ![]() Evernote dropped features I was relying on or moved them to premium levels, often without notice and was very dismissive to customers. Evernote, in their push for profit and restricting features in the free version. OneNote, in its poor file organization (bloated files), slow performance, and disappointing offline experience with mobile use. Its more flexible and it looks more professional, while Evernote is too simple imho. OneNote should improve the client tho, its confusing at times. I used Evernote in the past but never really got on with it and I think they have lost the plot with their recent pricing change. If you use Onenote take a look at Onetastic - it is a plug-in for Onenote that adds a bunch of features such as macros and has a large library of user contributed ones. Care to elaborate how do you use ON Maybe a simple tutorial on how do you use ON for your organizational tools I am a horrible man when we are talking about get organized.
